The Southeast Truck Show Fundraiser is coming up on June 24, and they are raising money for Steinbach Community Outreach and Soups On.

Bill Schroeder, organizer for the Southeast Truck Show Fundraiser, says it’s a family event, and they will have lots activities for the kids.

“We have face painting, we have a bouncy castle, that all starts around 9:30-10:00am, and two live bands playing.”

The Jake Brakes will be playing from 11:00am to 1:00pm, and Young & Haggard will be playing from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

In between the two bands playing, they will have the two charities present their speech on what their all about.

Then of course, as it is a truck show, they will have a bunch of semis there. Shroeder says they will also have six or seven semi-related booths set up.

Last year over 45 trucks showed up for the event.

He says the amount of semis showing up this year hasn’t been confirmed, as it depends on how many truckers are going to be home and how many will be out on the road.

“We set up for probably around 75 semis, whether we get that many I don't know.”

The Southeast Truck Show Fundraiser is on Saturday June 24 and starts at 10am between Canadian Tire and Co-op on Highway 12 in Steinbach.
