Steinbach landscape technician Joyce Purchase says it has been an amazing, long season for the city's flower gardens. She is amazed by the longevity of the blooming flowers this season. Roses are still in bloom while Snap Dragons and Marigolds still beautiful. Although the flowers are still blooming, Purchase says the gardens needed to be cleaned up before the snow arrives. The flowers and plants are being taken to Steinbach Landfill for composting.
