The RCMP says that the search for two missing children and their father has come to an end after the three were found unharmed.
The 12 and 10 year old have been safely located with their father in Bathurst, New Brunswick. The children will be coming back to Manitoba. At this time, there are no charges. The investigation is continuing.
Police in western Manitoba say two children have not been seen or heard from since Friday afternoon.
The Manitoba RCMP says in a release that officers at the Boissevain detachment received a report that the two children had not been returned to their mother after they had spent time with their father.
The children rode their bikes from school to their father's home in Hartney, Manitoba, on Friday afternoon.
Mounties say that the parents had agreed the kids would spend the night at their father's and return home on Saturday afternoon.
However, nobody has seen or heard from the children or their father, since the kids left school on Friday. The father also did not show up for work on Monday as scheduled.
