A 37-year-old man was arrested in Winnipeg on June 4th, after a lengthy investigation including several charges of break and enter. The incidents happened in La Broquerie at the Shell gas station and at Sainte-Anne Grocery in March of 2016, where several thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from the two locations.

Ste. Anne Police Chief Marc Robichaud says a warrant was issued for the arrest of Bjarne Roussin. “Winnipeg Police picked him up on the strength of the warrant, and as a result of the investigation conducted by officers here in Ste. Anne. It's good to see hard work come to fruition with an arrest at the end.”

Robichaud says Roussin has been remanded into custody and also is facing other charges related to offences in Winnipeg.
