A high-speed collision occurred 5 miles west of Highway 12 at the intersection of Ridge Road and Blatz Road this morning
Constable Denis Redikop says RCMP were called to the scene around 9:50 AM. He explains that a southbound truck was traveling along Blatz when the driver slid through the intersection and t-boned a van.
Redikop indicates that both vehicles contained both a driver and passenger one of whom was a child. Though all airbags went off, nobody was taken to hospital.
The highway was fully barricaded for about half an hour, but Redikop says it quickly re-opened after the tow-truck was able to come and remove the battered vehicles from the scene.
