Mike Bernier, who moved to Ste. Anne about four years ago, says he looks forward to representing all residents from the Town of Ste. Anne fairly. He notes his goal is to build a better Ste. Anne, one that thrives economically but still maintains the small town feel.

"We already live in a great town," expresses Bernier, "my thoughts are, let's work together to make it an even better place to live, work and play."

Bernier believes that with his background in marketing, that he will be able to better market the Town of Ste. Anne. "I just want to clean some things up," he adds noting his family all lives in town so Bernier says he would like to make it a better place for all families including his own.

Bernier says there are some things he would like to see change in the community throughout the upcoming term which he adds he is eager to take on. "I'm willing to run for mayor and see if we can get a lot of my visions, see if we can get them done over the four-year term."

He adds he will start campaigning in the next few weeks going door to door in the community and hopes to get support from the community as we approach the October 24th election.
