It has been a busy month for the 15U Providence Junior Pilots Boys Volleyball team in Otterburne and this weekend is no exception as they are hosting a tournament.

Head Coach Mike Pittman appreciates the strong support from all the parents.

“I know all the moms are probably waking up this morning and pulling their hair out, getting everything in line for the day, trying to remember every little detail. It’s a lot of prep, a lot more goes into a tournament than I thought. A lot of the parents are doing all that kind of grunt work. They're telling me just to focus on the boys and the volleyball. So that's nice of them to do that. We’re super excited. We've got seven teams coming to play this weekend.”

Pittman says it’s a great opportunity for people in the Southeast to check out the sport and have fun cheering on some great teams.

“For anyone that's never actually watched live volleyball, it's such an amazing sport to watch. It's so exciting. There's always action going on. So, if you've never watched it before, come out and check it out. If you love volleyball, come out, check it out. We're going to put on a good show this weekend.”
