Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a trailer theft on Monday.

Earlier this week we reported an enclosed trailer was stolen from a construction site in Ste. Anne.

Ste. Anne Police and Steinbach RCMP combined their efforts and say they recovered the trailer and all its contents valued at approximately $20,000 in Blumenort.

28-year-old Marc Leclerc and 33-year-old Stephanie Claeys both of Blumenort have been charged with Theft over $5,000 and Possession over $5,000.

Leclerc has been remanded into custody.
