The 6th Annual Tractor Trek Fundraiser rolled out of the Mennonite Heritage Village Saturday morning.

Organizer Al Hamm says he has been involved with the Tractor Trek every years since it has been around. He notes the funds that are raised are split evenly between the Mennonite Heritage Village and Winkler's Eden Foundation.

Hamm says the Tractor Trek is an all day affair starting with breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 in the Livery Barn at the MHV.

'The route is actually going to be 52 kilometres, it takes you through landmark for lunch, Randolph for Faspa and back here for supper. Well we call our Trek 50 50 50. The point is to have about 50 tractors that are about 50 years old or older travel 50 kilometres."

Hamm says the route took them past the seniors home in Blumenort as well as the seniors home in Landmark.
