The Carillon Senior Hockey League’s best-of-seven final between the Ste. Anne Aces and Grunthal Red Wings was tied at two-games-a-piece. The Hanover Tache Junior Hockey League shortened its final from a best-of-seven to a best-of-three but the Springfield Xtreme and Lorette Comets played only game one. The Eastman Selects were scheduled to play game three of their Manitoba U18 AAA semifinal with the Winnipeg Wild the night the hockey season came to an end and 10 Hockey Manitoba Provincial Championships including the Midget Rural A/B Championship in Steinbach and the Pee Wee Rural A Championship in Beausejour were all cancelled.
