A teenage girl is dead as the result of a two vehicle collision Saturday morning northwest of Letellier.

Police say the crash occurred along Highway 14, approximately eight kilometres west of Highway 75 in the Rural Municipality of Montcalm.

The investigation has determined a westbound vehicle, driven by a 24-year-old man from Maryfield, Saskatchewan crossed over the centre line and collided with an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 62-year-old man from Ste. Agathe.

A 14-year-old female passenger in the westbound vehicle died at the scene. Three other occupants were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The man from Ste. Agathe was not injured.

Officers believe seatbelts were in use and that alcohol was not a factor.

Morris RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
