Swimmer Missing In Whiteshell Provincial Park

RCMP at Lac du Bonnet are searching for a missing swimmer in the Whiteshell. They say shortly before 3:00 on Monday afternoon, a 38-year-old male from Fisher Branch swam out into the Winnipeg River to retrieve a boat that had blown away. He did not return. It happened near Strawberry Island on the Winnipeg River in the Whiteshell. The search continues.
