A series of several fast-moving low-pressure systems will continue Sunday night into Louis Riel Monday, with the final of three clippers over the last four days, or so, expected to drop the most snow, potentially 5cm.

A north wind will pick up on Monday, from 30 to 50 km/h which will cause the wind chill to go from –20C in the morning down to -27C in the afternoon. The combination of fresh snow and strong winds could impact driving conditions, reducing visibility.

The high for Monday is –14C. Average daytime highs for this point in February are -6 daytime and -16 overnight.

As we get back to work and school on Tuesday, another round of chilly weather will begin, with another surge of Arctic air following closely behind this last system of the weekend. Highs Tuesday through Friday will be in the -18 to -21 range.

Thursday night will be the coldest this week at –31.
