Ranchers Choice Beef Co-op and the City and R.M. of Dauphin have signed a development and industrial service agreement.  C.E.O. Bruce McDonald says it took nearly 8 months to hammer out the terms, but it was crucial to the project moving forward.  The documents outline the conditions, limits, terms, and responsibilities of the parties involved in the operation of the waste water pre-treatment and effluent treatment systems.  He stresses the agreements are a requirement for Rancher's phase 1 environmental license.  The application is still under review by various provincial and federal officials.  McDonald is hopeful the co-op's final license will be granted by July 1st, with construction of the slaughter facility beginning shortly after.
