The Winnipeg Jets are still looking for the their first win in round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Montreal goaltender Carey Price made 30 saves and recorded his eighth career post-season shutout in the Canadiens 1-0 victory over Winnipeg Friday night at Bell MTS Place.

Tyler Toffoli scored the only goal of the game shorthanded 1:41 into the second period.

Jets netminder Connor Hellebuyck faced 24 shots.

Winnipeg forward Mark Scheifele served his first game of a four game suspension he received from the NHL for charging Montreal forward Jake Evans in the final minute of game one. Evans was taken off the ice on a stretcher and suffered a concussion.

Forward Paul Stastny and defenseman Dylan DeMelo also missed game two with injuries.

The Habs lead the best-of-seven North Division final two games to none.

Game three goes Sunday in Montreal.
