The future is looking bright for the Steinbach business community as it moves toward economic recovery.

That’s from the new president of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce, Christine Beaumont. She says it’s great to be part of an optimistic team that focuses on working together to achieve success.

Beaumont previously served as Vice President for the Chamber. As a financial advisor with Paul Craft Financial, she has been given many opportunities to serve the business community and appreciates the valuable input from everyone.

She’s eager to continue working with a great team that has a focus on a positive future and wants everyone to succeed.

“For myself, and I think for the organization, what’s important for the chamber is being well positioned for the economic recovery,” Beaumont says.

The public has an important role in the economic recovery as Beaumont says every local shopper contributes greatly toward boosting the local economy. She hints at a new promotion that will invite shoppers to think local when making purchases for Christmas.

“We do want to encourage people to think locally when making those choices,” Beaumont says. “There’s a lot to offer here, we don’t necessarily have to step outside (the community).”

There are many great businesses, entrepreneurs and various artists in this area, she adds.
