Winnipeg quarterback Buck Pierce has been named the Canadian Football League's Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Blue Bombers 25-23 victory over the Montreal Alouettes. Pierce completed 20-of-29 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball three times for 24 yards. This is the second time this season that Pierce has been recognized as he was also named Player of the Week in week four. He has now taken home the honour five times in his career.
