The town of Morris is looking to update its logo and slogan. Mayor Gavin van der Linde says they're hoping town residents will help them out.

Mayor van der Linde says they've set up a website and now they're looking for feedback from citizens. That feedback will come through results of an online survey. The purpose of the survey is to gain an understanding of what residents believe makes Morris a good place to both live and do business. Mayor van der Linde says "it will really give us a good starting point for looking at the future with this program." He adds "as we have some highway renewal happening in town we really want to take the opportunity to do a fresh facelift on the entire community and part of this marketing opportunity is what we're looking at."

As mentioned, the fresh facelift will include developing an updated logo and slogan. The survey asks residents' opinions on possible slogans and even a potential town sculpture.

The survey deadline is December 16. Results of the survey will remain anonymous and a summary of the answers will be presented to town council.
