A war veteran from Steinbach urges us to attend a Remembrance Day service Saturday.George Pauls says we must never forget the high cost of our freedom. In Steinbach, the service takes place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Meantime, Pauls senses our soldiers serving today in Afghanistan don't get the same level of support from Canadians as veterans of the great wars. He thinks that's because we see all the bodies coming home, something that didn't happen in the 1st and 2nd World Wars.  Business in Steinbach and across Manitoba will be closed Saturday from 9am to 1pm in honour of Remembrance Day.  The Remembrance Day Act does not allow retail establishments to operate for those 4 hours.  Hotels and restaurants are exmpt from the law.
