Kleefeld was a busy community on Saturday with garage sales throughout the community and the car show fundraiser for the park.

Veronica English says they are raising money to pay for a line painter.

“So, we actually already purchased it, but now we’re trying to pay it off. It was quite a hefty price.”

The line painter cost around $5,000 and will be used for the soccer fields and baseball diamonds.

“We have hundreds of kids in these programs, so it is something that is being used for the entire community.”

English expects it to last for many years.

The car show attracted people from various communities to show off their cars as well as to see the cars on display at the park.
