The Rural Municipality of Hanover has found out how much money it is getting through the province's restart program.

Last month, Manitoba Municipal Relations Minister Rochelle Squires announced $72.6 million would be funneled to municipalities through the Safe Restart Agreement between the provincial and federal governments. The funding will be dispersed on a per capita basis to Manitoba's 137 municipalities.

"We need a bit of time to think about," says Toews. "You don't just want to spend it on stuff that there's no return. We'd like to spend it on something maybe we get returns years down the road too."
