2020 has been a year...a weird year and so...why not acknowledge it with a Halloween costume? Here are some ideas that are so 2020.

Toilet Paper - Sadly this costume idea really needs no explanation...this all-consuming important Covid item seems fitting to start the list of Covid Halloween costumes.

Murder Hornet - You could dress up as an actual murder hornet, or...you could dress as an entomologist and wear some protective gear!

Zoom Meeting – Many of us have attended them, why not pay homage to it and wear a dressy top, pajama bottoms, slippers, coffee, and a laptop.

Your favorite “quarantine show” character- We spent a lot of time during the pandemic watching tv/Netflix/movies... you could dress up like a Schitt’s Creek characters (Moira is an easy one to create), put on a Kobra Kai karate outfit, Baby Yoda, Stranger Things...basically, check your browser history!

Tiger King- the show we all heard about, talked about and some of us watched.  A hippie outfit like Carole Baskin or you could wear a sparkly shirt, with a cap and of course the handlebar mustache for Joe Exotic. This idea could fall under the Netflix character but really...this deserves its own note.

A bat? Hahahaha! Where coronavirus all began...

Canada Post worker – they've been working double-time if not triple time through the pandemic...it might be a nice nod to all their work!

A Dumpster fire – it’s become a pretty good descriptive word for 2020....all you need to do is paint a box the color of a dumpster and put some flames out the top of it and you're good to go!

TikTokker – We’ve spent some time or really...students have spent a LOT of time on TikTok so why not? Basically, all you need is...sweatpants, a cropped shirt and then some kind of dance move...oh..and your phone.

Frontline workers – grab your scrubs and medical face mask and your set! Or dress up like a stereotypical custodian with a broom, a set of keys and a dark shirt and pants.  These workers have been battling hard for the last 8 months, it's a great way to honour and recognize all they are doing.

Decorate your face mask - you've already got the mask, why not decorate it with a marker, some glue and sparkles and you're set!
