It took just two games for the La Broquerie Habs to record their first win of the 2020-21 Hanover Tache Junior Hockey League season.

Two days after dropping a 9-4 decision the Grunthal Red Wings in their season opener back on October 23rd, Vaughn Dupre completed his hat trick scoring a shorthanded goal with 22 seconds left in the third period to lift La Broquerie past the Landmark Blues 7-6 at the HyLife Centre.

The Habs, who returned to the HTJHL last season after a five-year absence, went 0-25 and were swept by the Red River Mudbugs in the opening round of the playoffs.

La Broquerie lost 6-2 to the Lorette Comets and 10-1 to the Steinbach Huskies before the current season was suspended because of COVID-19 code red restrictions.
