Police say there was a bank robbery in Grunthal Wednesday morning.

At approximately 10:30 am, St. Pierre RCMP responded to the robbery on Main Street.

The investigation has determined that a lone male entered the bank and demanded money while making threats towards the employees. Following the robbery, it is believed the suspect then fled in a vehicle.

According to RCMP, the suspect was wearing a dark coloured jacket and a black toque with a small logo and lettering beneath. He is described as having shoulder-length dark brown hair with a moustache and some other facial hair.

The Manitoba RCMP's Major Crime Services, Forensic Identification Services along with officers from St. Pierre RCMP are investigating.
