The Winnipeg Goldeyes are one win away from capturing the 2012 American Baseball Association Championship Series.

Amos Ramon drilled a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning as Winnipeg beat the Wichita Wingnuts 7-3 on Wednesday night at Shaw Park. Chris Roberson had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Goldeyes who lead the best-of-five series two games to none. Winnipeg starter Chris Salamida got the win. He allowed three runs on five hits and struck out six in six-and-two-thirds innings of work. Brian Beuning picked up his four save of the post-season.

Game three goes Friday night at Laurence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, Kansas. Matt Rusch will get the start for the Goldeyes.
