Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced three roster moves Monday.

Outfielder Justin Bass was traded to the Gary SouthShore RailCats as the player to be named later in the Louis Ott trade that brought Ott to Winnipeg in May. Bass, 25, led the Goldeyes with 15 home runs in 2011. The former Florida Marlins farmhand hit .258 in 89 games with 53 RBI.

The Goldeyes also released pitcher Luis Villarreal and outfielder Fehlandt Lentini. Villarreal was 7-4 with a 4.35 ERA, while Lentini, who was signed late in the season, hit .244 in 20 games with two home runs and eight RBI.

American Association teams have until November 10 to declare which players they exercised the option on for the 2012 season.
