The Winnipeg Goldeyes will play their final home game of the 2011 American Baseball Association regular season schedule on Friday night when they meet the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Shaw Park. The Fish won their season high seventh straight home-game last night downing the RedHawks 9-6. Luis Alen drilled a two-run homer and Brian Myrow, Jon Weber and Price Kendall each drove in two runs for the Fish who learned on Thursday they were playoff bound as they clinched at the very least a wildcard spot. Winnipeg starter Ace Walker earned his 10th win of the season. Jamie Vermilyea pitched the ninth inning and got his 16th save. The Goldeyes lead the North Division by four games over the St. Paul Saints with five games left. Winnipeg's magic number to clinch the division is two.
