Eastman Selects’ Brad Goethals scored three goals and added an assist Saturday against Central Plains Capitals, then added another goal and assist Sunday against Interlake Lightning and has been selected Chicken Chef Player of the Week. Goethals, a 16-year-old native of Ile des Chenes, finished the season with 32 goals and 33 assists. His 32 goals currently lead the league and are two more than Parkland’s Joshua Tripp, who has one game to play.

Also, Goethals' team mate Vaughn Dupre was runner-up for the Dekalb Rookie of the Week.

The Selects finished 4th and will be taking on the Pembina Valley Hawks in the first round of the playoffs.
