The Manitoba Liquor Control Commission has put out a warning. Spokesperson Diana Soroka says anyone who purchased Woody's Mexican Lime Vodka Cooler should return it to the store for a full refund.

"It was initiated by an issue here in Manitoba," says Soroka. "We had been notified from someone who had actually consumed the product that there was glass found in a product. And we did an inspection of some of the case lots and found that there were a couple of case lots that were affected."

Soroka says the Canadian Food Inspection Agency did the inspection "and their recommendation was that we pull everything from our shelves and to alert the public that there were some glass fragments that were found and not to consume the product."

Soroka says this alcohol has been pulled from the shelves of the Steinbach liquor store. She doubts any of the contaminated bottles were sold out of the Steinbach store.
