Red dot shows the approximate location of the collision.One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday in Anola, forty kilometres north of Steinbach.

RCMP say it happened just before 1:00 p.m. on Highway #12, just north of Highway #15. Police add the collision involved two northbound vehicles. One of them caught fire.

The highway was closed for about six hours after the incident as investigators completed their work.
