Emergency personnel were called to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 12 and Provincial Road 311 at the Blumenort turnoff just before 8 am Wednesday.

Steinbach RCMP Constable Alexandra Hildrop says one vehicle was traveling southbound when a westbound vehicle turned onto the highway and caused a collision.

Hildrop says the driver of the southbound vehicle sustained minor injuries, the other driver was not hurt. The driver of the westbound vehicle was charged with proceeding when unsafe to do so.
