Emergency personnel were at the scene of a rollover on Highway 1 for hours on Sunday.

At 3:43 P.M. RCMP say they were called to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 1 one mile east of the Highway 12 interchange.

Police say one vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 1 when a second vehicle turned eastbound onto Highway 1 from Road 37 East.

According to the report from the crash, it appears the first vehicle lost control trying to avoid the second vehicle and rolled in the ditch. RCMP say the 20-year-old male driver was ejected from the vehicle. There was also a 17-year-old female passenger.

The 20-year-old male was transported to hospital and is in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the 65-year-old male driver of the second vehicle and his occupants did not collide with the first vehicle. Emergency services remained at the scene of the collision well into Sunday evening.
