Curling Canada’s Return to Play Guidelines were announced last week.

Social distancing plays a huge role in the sports return to the ice.

Only one sweeper will be allowed on all delivered stones.

The person in charge of the house is not allowed to sweep under any circumstance.

Skips of the non delivering team must stand at the hack until the other team has finished and relinquishes control of the house. They are not allowed to sweep the opposition stone behind the tee line.

There are also curling club building safety considerations.

Clayton Dreger asked CurlManitoba executive director Craig Baker if it’s exciting to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for the 2020-21 season after the remainder of the 2019-2020 season was cancelled because of COVID-19 back in March
