Anthony Calvillo threw two first-half touchdowns as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers lost their second CFL pre-season game to the Montreal Alouettes. The Bombers got on the board first with a Troy Westwood touchdown less then five minutes into the first quarter but by the end of the half the Alouettes had a 21-13 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bombers' Albert Johnson ran 75-yards for a touchdown, but he was called back, and the final score ended up 30-15 for Montreal. Elsewhere in pre-season CFL play, Dave Dickenson threw four touchdown passes in the opening half as the B.C. Lions beat Calgary 57-13.
