The injury bug has hit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers hard. Fred Reid and Carl Volny are out for the season after suffering knee injuries this past Saturday in the Blue Bombers 25-24 loss to the Argonauts in Toronto. Both running backs have torn acl's. Quarterbacks Buck Pierce and Alex Brink may be available for Friday's home game against the Montreal Alouettes. Pierce aggravated the rib injury he suffered during the Banjo Bowl while Brink has a seperated left shoulder which was feeling better on Monday. Offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte and defensive tackle Doug Brown are doubtful for Friday. Brown has a shoulder problem and LaBatte has a neck injury.
