It looks like we could be in for quite the interesting weather for the next couple of days as two different systems impact Southern Manitoba. The first system is prompting Blizzard Warnings to be issued for the entire region. Blizzard warnings are issued when widespread reduced visibility of 400 metres or less is expected for at least 4 hours.

The third clipper this week is poised to arrive tonight, bringing up to 5 cm of snow and a very strong, windy punch.

with significant improvement for most communities by evening. Areas near the international border may continue to see blowing snow and poor visibility persist for a few more hours into the evening. Winds across southern Manitoba will diminish to light by midnight.
