The Mutcheson family will be enshrined into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame. Jim Sr., along with son's Michael, Ray, Jim Jr., Jack, Joey and Matt will be inducted on June 2nd at the 16th Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Banquet & Ceremony at the Access Event Centre in Morden. Jim Sr. was one of the founding Directors of the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and was inducted into both the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. Jim Sr. and his wife Sylvia, formerly of Steinbach, were honored in the early 1960's as Morden's Citizen's of the Year.

The Team Manitoba All-Stars, who won the Western Canada Juvenile Championship in Emerson and the Canadian Championship in Sarnia in 1981 will also be inducted.

 Three other teams will also be inducted into the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame. They include the 1986-1990 Hamiota Red Sox; the 1988-1993 Grosse Isle Blue Jays and the 1964-1969 Rivers Comets.

 The eight individuals who will be inducted are Alex Campbell, Wayne Gullett, Bill Nicholson, Bob Paradine, Donnie Smith, John Lesychen, Ernie O'Dowda and Iggy Scaletta.
