The numbers were up at the 43rd annual Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition in Morris. Valley Ag Society president Ardin Ross says the heat was not a factor for the crowds. According to the stampede's security service attendance numbers were the second highest they've been in the last 14 years. Ross says the board received a lot of praise for the way the event was run. He adds the rodeo and horse shows drew the most people.
