Envision Executive Director Jeannette brought in a couple of amazing change makers who are part of a group being honoured on Friday.

Jeannette spoke on the Country 107 Morning Show about the event. "We're doing it as a funrdaiser called Make A Difference. Envision exsists to inspire equality, inclusion and the vaule of all people. We've idenitified 6 adult honourees who are ordianry people in our community that have made a difference. They've seen a need and responded in practicaly ways, extended friendship to people who are disadvantaged and we also have some adult change makers that are making a postiive impact on others."

It's not only the adults that are making positive changes. "We also have 3 young change makers that we are hornouring. These are young people who at an early age are making a difference and taking notice of the needs of people around them. We're encouraged because of these great young kids."

Natasha is one of the adult change makers that will be recognized and she brought in something very special. "I'm wearing my gold medal from Provicniclas. It was almost two months ago that we won it. It was pretty crazy cause even though we were leading the whole game, it was still a surprise."

She's far from done when it comes to athletics. "Next February, my curling team and I will be going to Thunder Bay, Ontario."

One of the kid change makers is Brooklyn who is only 7 years old and she talked about what she did. "I did a bake sale at my house. I sold cookies, brownies and muffins. I wanted to help different people."

And help both Brooklyn and Natasha have.
