Steinbach Fire crews attending fire call at Loewen in Steinbach.
Steinbach Fire was called to Loewen this morning at 8:30.
Fire Chief Kel Toews says the call came in as a fire alarm and when crews went to assess the situation they found a fire smouldering in part of the roof. A call for additional members was then given shortly before 9:00.
Toews notes crews were on scene for about two hours peeling back the roofing material to see how far the smouldering extended. He adds there were no injuries and a cause has not yet been determined.
