Helipad Opens In Winnipeg
A flight paramedic for STARS Air Ambulance says the opening of a helipad at Winnipeg's Health Science Centre will no doubt save lives. Ray Rempel of Steinbach adds it's an absolute game changer. Rempel says it's Manitoba's first hospital-based rooftop helipad and will also help ground EMS resources to stay in their local community.
