A number of rivers and lakes in southern Manitoba have seen their water levels rise over the last 24 hours.

The Roseau River is reporting the following changes since Thursday:

  • up two inches at Gardenton to 967.67 feet
  • up one inch at Stuartburn to 950.32 feet
  • up one inch at Dominion City (PR 200) to 782.64 feet.

Lakes at the Whiteshell are reporting the following changes since Thursday:

  • Falcon Lake up less than one inch to 1,067.68 feet
  • West Hawk Lake down less than one inch to 1,095.07 feet
  • Caddy Lake up less than one inch to 1,050.61 feet

The Red River is reporting the following changes since Thursday:

  • down one inch at Emerson to 788.96 feet
  • down less than one inch at Letellier to 784.19 feet
  • down less than one inch at St. Jean to 781.07 feet
  • down less than one inch at Morris to 779.63 feet
  • down less than one inch at Ste. Agathe to 771.55 feet
  • down one inch at St. Adolphe to 767.41 feet

Meanwhile, the Seine River near Ste. Anne has gone up eight inches since Thursday to 832.71 feet, while the Rat River near Otterburne has dropped less than one inch to 771.83 feet.
