It appears there were no injuries following a plane crash Monday near the port of entry in the Rural Municipality of Piney.

Sprague RCMP responded to the crash on Monday at approximately 2:20 pm. The Piney Fire Department and EMS were also called to the scene. However, all three agencies were stood down after it was confirmed that the crash occurred on the American side of the border.

According to the Roseau County Sheriff's Office, the Roseau Fire and EMS responded to the crash, though it was handled by the Federal Aviation Administration. According to the Sheriff, it appears the occupants walked away with no injuries.
