Don't expect much retail to be open Monday in Steinbach.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ben Dueck says Thanksgiving is a statutory or general holiday in Manitoba. As a result, the city will follow regular Sunday shopping guidelines.

Dueck says restaurants, gas stations and some convenience stores will be open on Monday.

Steinbach Fly-In golf course will also be open, though both the library and aquatic centre will remain closed all day.
