There was a vehicle fire just southeast of Steinbach around 11:30 Sunday night.

It happened on a driveway along Hirschfeld Road, south of Highway #52.

Steinbach Fire Chief Kel Toews says a pickup truck was destroyed by the blaze.

He adds it started in the engine compartment.

There were no injuries.
