The 2020 golf season has come to an end.

A number of courses enjoyed a big jump in traffic this season including the La Verendrye golf club.

Rounds were up month-to-month at the 18-hole layout in La Broquerie thanks in part to the outstanding weather conditions golfers enjoyed this year.

La Verendrye Golf will have a new look in 2021.

Ken Tallaire, a longtime La Broquerie resident and the owner of T&T Properties, purchased the golf course this month as reported by Steinbachonline's Connor Gerbrandt.

Mitch Tetrault, former La Verendrye pro, is the club's Director of Golf and Darren Dundas remains the club's superintendent.

Clayton Dreger asked Darren Dundas to reflect on the golf season at La Verendrye Golf
