A woman was taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision on PR 206 early Saturday evening.

According to RCMP, the collision took place right around 6:30 P.M. in Randolph approximately 1.6 kilometres north of Highway 52. Police say the initial investigation has determined that the female driver, a 32-year-old from the R.M. of La Broquerie, was driving too fast to take the curve and ended up in the ditch.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and she was issued a ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for Drive Imprudently.
