The Trans-Canada Highway heading towards Falcon Lake Thursday

The winter storm warning has ended.

However, Steinbach RCMP Traffic Services reports that Highway 12 from Hwy 311 to Highway 1, Highways 206 and 311 (Landmark and Blumenort) are reported as being snow covered with low visibility. Travel is not advised.

RCMP Falcon Lake Detachment reports multiple vehicle in the ditch along Highway 1 east of Ste. Anne Road conditions are reported as being ice packed, with slush and poor visibility. Highway 1, in both east and westbound lanes are reported to be down to one lane in some areas. Motorists are asked to avoid travel.
