A couple of motorists are facing charges after being stopped over the weekend by Steinbach RCMP.

Police report they pulled over a vehicle at 12:25 Saturday morning in the RM of La Broquerie. The driver was found to have a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit. A 27-year-old male from Mitchell was charged.

 

Then, shortly before 7:00 Saturday evening, officers pulled over a vehicle on Old Tom Road in Steinbach. Investigation determined the motorist was driving while disqualified. A 24-year-old male from the Mitchell area was charged.
