A woman from St. Malo is dead and police are treating her death as suspicious.

On Christmas Eve, at approximately 8:25 am, St. Pierre RCMP were dispatched to St. Malo following a report of an unresponsive female located inside a residence in town.

Upon arrival, officers located a dead 55-year-old female from St. Malo. Police say her death is considered suspicious and is being investigated by Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services, with assistance from Forensic Identification Services and St. Pierre RCMP.
